The U.S. is in the midst of an opioid overdose epidemic with every American state, county, socio-economic and ethnic group impacted. Overdose Lifeline, Inc. (ODL) is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities affected by the disease of addiction / substance use disorder through advocacy, education, harm reduction, prevention, resources, and support. COVID-19 has affected each and every one of us. While the world is in the midst of a pandemic, the U.S. opioid overdose epidemic has not stopped. Being in isolation, away from family and friends, with regular routine interrupted, the number of overdoses has grown significantly. Since last April, we have seen more than a 90% increase in overdoses. Your support enables us to keep providing helpful resources, harm reduction services, and opioid education in our community.
