NARCAN® Expiration Date Extended

Overdose Lifeline is excited to announce that in August of 2020 the Federal Food and Drug Administration extended the expiration dates on NARCAN® from 24 to 36 months. In addition, the storage conditions have been updated.

Naloxone, known also as NARCAN®, is a key strategy from the
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in addressing the opioid overdose public
health crisis. In June of 2020, the State of Indiana awarded Overdose Lifeline
funding to provide free overdose reversal kits across the state of Indiana.
Overdose Lifeline distributes the NARCAN® nasal version.
