Course Overview

The Brain and the Disease of Addiction training course will teach you about the disease of addiction by looking at how the brain is affected by substances such as drugs and alcohol and how the disease of addiction develops.

This course is for individuals, parents, students, healthcare professionals and groups and organizations who will benefit from an understanding and knowledge of the science of the disease of addiction.

The course is available as a self-paced online continuing education course, as a trainer program for in-person and webinar settings or delivered by Overdose Lifeline as live online and on-site training for groups of five or more.
