REMEMBRANCES

Daniel Werbiskis, 7/17/91-7/31/17

Danny loved Family, friends, and fishing (and not necessarily in that order). When he wasn’t working (as a plumber), you could probably find him down at a local fishing spot with friends.
On July 15, 2017, my parents called me with the news that no one ever wants to hear. Danny was on life support in ICU in a Florida hospital. Two weeks later, on July 31, Danny lost his battle with Addiction.
He is missed by his co-workers, friends, and especially his family. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think of my brother and the relationship we could have mended and had and all of the important life events he will miss. I will forever love and miss you, Danny.

Share Their Story

Share their story to commemorate their life and acknowledge their journey.

Our deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved. At ODL, we stand in solidarity with you during this difficult time and would be honored to pay tribute to their memory.

We kindly request your collaboration in our mission to combat stigma and prevent its perpetuation. This involves refraining from using terms that separate lives lost, such as “poisoning“, “murdered“, “abuse“, “addict“, or “junkie“. If these words are included in your submission, we may reach out to you with editing suggestions.  We would not change the intent or meaning of our edit, and we will notify you first for approval.

Please share your personal story, remembrance, or LIFELINE message of hope and support.
You can create a custom summary with up to 55 words for your Remembrance to be displayed in the main Remembrance page. Otherwise, the site will display the first 55 words of your text.
