REMEMBRANCES

He tried

I recently lost the love of my life to a methadone and Xanax overdose.
His name is Jason Carter and he was 43.
I found him on the morning of June 5th in our den .
He was already blue.
He had been in recovery for two years rehabs and sober living
In April of this year he found fentanyl and got addicted to that.
He have been in Suboxone for seven years before this but he said it wasn’t working any more
The day day he died our so called friend sold him five blue xanaxes knowing he was on methadone
My word shattered that day and I can’t find all the pieces to put myself back together again.
I’m lost without him.
