REMEMBRANCES

In Memory of Dakota

Dakota Stout age 25, died February 1st of a heroin/fentanyl overdose. He was my younger brother. Dakota was so much more than addict. He was a son, a brother, a father, a loyal friend, a community member, a nephew, an uncle, a fiance, and above all a human being. He loved family and loved laughter and jokes. He had loads of natural talent whether it was learning to drive a semi, playing the guitar, or doing computer programming. He had so much natural ability. Dakota was a wonderful man that got lost in addiction and couldn’t find his way out. I’m sure he thought one more time and never thought it would be his last time. Dakota lives on forever in our hearts and souls, his name forever in the community.
