REMEMBRANCES

In Memory of Steven

This is my brother in law, Steven. He overdosed on Fentanyl, on July 10, 2019. His birthday would have been August 29th. He was only 25 years old.

He was in a terrible car accident in November 2016 which resulted in a broken neck. He was on his way home from work when a drunk driver hit the vehicle he was in, at 80+ miles an hour. He had to have a rod and pins put in and was never able to recover from the pain of that day. He lost a good friend in that wreck. From then on he battled addiction. He searched for a high and always wanted more than the last. He went to rehab and when he got out, he eventually wanted that high again. He took some medicine and didn’t realize that would be the last time he would need to numb his pain.
