REMEMBRANCES

In Memory of Tashara

I lost my daughter Tashara to a synthetic opioid overdose (U4) December 17, 2016. She was 25 years old. Unfortunately, myself as well as many other families fill these “ugly shoes” everyday. I have had to learn to adjust my sails amidst the storm of the opioid epidemic we are seeing take over so many lives. My journey has become fighting this crisis in honor of my daughter and all the other special someone’s that have lost their fight. We have to encourage everyone to end the stigma & silence surrounding overdose & addiction.
