REMEMBRANCES

My son Joshua Lumbert

My son Josh was my best friend. Joshua Lumbert loved his daughter more than anything he was a wonderful father. Josh was creative, smart and so very funny. Josh was very involved with twelve step meetings and had so many friends he cared about. He would often help his friends by giving money, food, a bus ride, help in finding a rehab, or a sober house. He was the wounded healer helping those around him but often forgetting to help himself. My son suffered with the disease of addiction dying alone from a fentanyl overdose in a sober house on the cape. It was the first time anyone had died in a sober house here and many things have changed due to my sons death. Sober houses are safer now thanks to my son. I miss my son every single day and love him so much.
