REMEMBRANCES

#Nikko4ever

Nikko passed away on Feb 25, 2022 from an accidental drug overdose. She was 21 years old and leaves behind at the time of death, her 6 week old son. She was the apple of our eye..always putting other first.
The night before Nikko’s passing, Nikko and her Mom had a conversation about if something happened to her who would raise her son. Nikko was confused as to why her Mom would ask such a question. I, her grandmother whom she lived with, responded its called adulting, since you have a child.
We all went to our rooms at 8:30pm that Thursday evening..saying what we always say, “Goodnight, love you see you in the morning. If you need help with the baby just yell!”
At 5:10am that Friday morning, I heard the baby crying and went to assist and found Nikko in the sitting position on the floor of their room..gone.
