REMEMBRANCES

Sarah

I lost the love of my life.
Sarah was in rehab for 7 month’s fighting for years, but we finally did it. Sober living couldn’t keep her anymore because of payments and it being way to much money, she left in February became depressed, but was over coming it. She was loyal and dedicated to her sobriety and her job and helping others all over the world with addiction. She became very depressed in March and kept saying she wanted to use which I supported her in whatever she was going through. I saved her all the time the past 4 years we have lived apart since she got into rehab and sober living. I was in FL she was in NJ, living with her grandparents. So the day she desired to relapse, I just knew something wasn’t right so I had her video call me and I knew she was and I cried my eyes out saying “ I’m gonna lose you “ she said she was on anything and became mean. We hung up, I was so upset but we remained texting. She told me at 12:39am on Friday April 24th 2020 she was going to cry herself to sleep. Come to find out that day rolls by no hearing from her, I get worried and paranoid but keeping calm, my brothers girlfriend calls me and asks about Sarah and I say good good and than she says Katie she passed away yesterday I lost it. I can’t believe this happened I can’t even put words into how hurt I am. I’m lost without her, I don’t get it, I know her family had her upset and things going on in life, but everything was so perfect. I lost her to a overdose of fentanyl heroin on April 24th 2020
